Procedure Analyst Jobs in New York

A Procedure Analyst in the banking industry is responsible for reviewing, developing, and implementing new procedures and changes to existing ones. They ensure that all procedures comply with regulatory requirements and best practices. This role involves technical writing, solving complex problems, collaborating with different teams, developing training materials, and helping to maintain quality standards. Important skills for a Procedure Analyst include strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. At least a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is typically required. Some banks may prefer candidates with a Master's degree or relevant certifications such as Certified Business Process Professional (CBPP) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP). Prior to becoming a Procedure Analyst, a person may have roles such as a Business Analyst, Process Analyst, or Compliance Analyst.
