A Bankruptcy Specialist in the banking industry is primarily responsible for managing all bankruptcy-related tasks of the bank. They review and process bankruptcy notices, motions, proofs of claim, and other related documents. They also ensure all bankruptcy filings are updated and accurate in the bank's system. Bankruptcy Specialists are involved in loss mitigation, monitoring loan modifications, and interacting with attorneys on bankruptcy issues. They also assist in preparing reports and analyzing trends related to bankruptcy.

They should have strong data entry and computer skills, as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is often required.
