JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Starting salary for Universal Bankerposition is \$18.50 an hour and up, depending on experience. JobDescription for Universal Banker position: Under direct supervision ofan Assistant Manager or Community President, this position isresponsible for assisting customers in a dual role (Platform/60% Teller)focused on delivering outstanding service with every customerinteraction. The Universal Banker will perform teller transactions,service existing customers, and offer product and service solutions toexisting customers or prospects when appropriate and beneficial. TheUniversal Banker is responsible for completing all training, passingBanker Certification within 6 months of hire/promotion date prior toprogressing to Universal Banker I, and demonstrating their ability tomeet or exceed customer expectations. Duties and responsibilities forUniversal Banker position: Efficiently process customer transactionswith a high level of integrity, accuracy and knowledge. Identify, expandand deepen customer relationships by profiling customers in an effort torecommend appropriate products and services that meet customer needs.Make referrals to other appropriate lines of business (i.e., WIS andWMC) to meet customer needs. Accurately open, maintain and close depositaccounts and services. Answer customer questions and resolve relatedaccount issues, including phone and in-person. Perform service relatedactivities such as on-boarding calls and appropriate follow-up withcustomers. Engage in reactive sales and cross-sell activities, includingcalling on campaign lists and follow-up on referrals received. Maintainknowledge of WSB\'s core processing system, WSB products and services,WSB policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements governingretail deposit accounts. Keep abreast of industry trends, standards andexternal factors that may affect the bank. Operates in full compliancewith internal policies/procedures, as well as applicableregulations/laws Perform other duties as assigned.
