About this position:
Responsible for overseeing business development, sales management, and employee development across assigned regional market area. Collaborates with administrative support personnel to ensure operational integrity to create a dynamic customer experience. Delivers strategies and tactics to support market growth in accordance with Company strategic objectives, department goals, initiatives, and Company policies. Supporting 10 Branches from Albany to Saratoga County.
Essential Job Functions:
Coach and motivate branch teams to develop new deposit and loan business, provide superior levels of customer relations, and promote sales and service culture.
Achieve branch and region sales goals through new business sales, referrals, and retention of account relationships through coaching, guidance, and staff motivation.
Provide leadership, training, and supervision; delegate daily operations to Branch Managers and Assistant Branch Managers as appropriate.
Attain established region and Company goals through active participation in sales management and officer call programs.
Participate in community events to increase Company visibility and to enhance new and existing business opportunities; work with appropriate lines of business partners to maximize opportunities.
Manage responsibility for hiring and staffing, performance management, and salary review > administration, delegate scheduling duties.
Collaborate with Branch Services/Regional Operations Managers to support operational soundness and compliance with Audit, policies and procedures, security, and regulatory requirements and to maintain oversight of staffing and expense management.

Education/Certifications:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required
10 years of experience in banking, financial services or retail sales required
5 years of supervisory or performance management experience preferred
Ability to achieve NMLS certification and Signature Guarantee certification
Skills/Knowledge:
Demonstrated management, supervisory and employee development skills
Solid sales skills and ability to motivate/coach sales team
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; comfortable communicating with customers, co-workers, management, and community influencers
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Strong analytical skills; attention to detail and ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and some brief periods of walking/standing
Repetitive use of telephone, computer, computer mouse, and keyboard
Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. at times

The pay range for this position is $110,000-$130,000 annually commensurate with experience and education.
Additional compensation may be earned through the Companys annual bonus and incentive programs, subject to individual and company performance.
